We had the luck to see Barack Obama yesterday - he was holding a speech at Portland's waterfront in front of 75.000 people - the biggest crowd ever. (at least thats what they say in the media). I was surprised that there were no security checks at all - you could just walk there (some streets were closed and helis were in the air + some military on the bridge - but all in all very relaxed.)
Wir hatten das Glück, gestern Barack Obama live zu sehen - er hat an der Waterfront in Portland vor 75.000 Leuten eine Rede gehalten (zumindest sagen sie in den Medien, das es 75.000 Leute waren, die größte Gruppe im Vorwahlkampf). Was mich echt erstaunt hat - es gab überhaupt keine Security Checks - man konnte einfach hingehen (ok, einiges Strassen waren gesperrt, Helis in der Luft und ein bissi Militär auf der Brücke - aber so im großen und ganzen wars total entspannt!)
